Puppy Obedience Course with Christina Hilliard, CPDT
Beginning July 15, 2008 on Tuesdays 7:30pm-8:30pm
6 weeks, $150

Join our guest trainer Christina Hilliard for this fun course directed towards puppies under 5 months of age. This class will include all sorts of information to get the relationship between you and your puppy off on the right foot. The curriculum includes:

  • Attention and focus exercises
  • Basic obedience work with commands such as "sit" and "down"
  • Leash work to teach your puppy how to walk nicely without pulling
  • Socialization exercises to accustom your puppy to being introduced to and handled by a stranger
  • Puppy playtime to teach your puppy appropriate dog-to-dog social behaviors

This puppy course will be limited to 6 dogs and will be held in our "Pup Tent" building.

A note for participants: To the first class, remember to bring with you:

  • A hungry puppy
  • Lots of soft, chewy treats
  • 6 ft leash (no retractable leashes)
  • Closed toe comfortable shoes (for you, not your puppy)
  • A mat or towel for your puppy
Basic Obedience Course with Christina Hilliard, CPDT
Beginning July 16, 2008 on Wednesdays 7:30pm - 8:30pm
6 weeks, $150

This basic obedience class is suitable for any non-aggressive (towards people or other dogs) dog over 5 months of age. You will learn attention exercises and basic obedience commands to build a solid foundation for your relationship with your dog.

This course will be limited to 6 dogs and will be held in our "Pup Tent" building.
