Reilly Ann

Reilly lives at Wags and is available for adoption through Labs4Rescue. We have been fostering this goofy girl for some time now. She is about 2.5 years old and in excellent health.

Reilly loves other dogs and can play, play, play all day long. She is incredibly affectionate and loving with all of our staff members, and, in fact, with any human that she meets after about 10 minutes of knowing them. However, Reilly has some fear issues of strangers and has a fearsome bark (while trying to back away in the other direction!) when she encounters someone she doesn't know. This is intimidating for the person being barked at and has been an obstacle to her adoption. We are working on these issues with Reilly and have developed some methods to make her more comfortable meeting strangers.

She is very smart and very food-motivated and eager to please; she can be taught to do any trick you could conjure up! She loves to sleep in bed with us at night and is like jello even when the other dogs step on her to try to find a spot in bed; she is also fine being crated at night instead and settles down nicely. We like to dress her up in hats and carry her around (yes - carry! we have pics) and play with her floppy cheeks while she sleeps.

Please contact us if you would like to know more about this unique dog. She has stolen our hearts and we would happily keep her forever but she deserves to have a real home and family of her own.
